I always recommend having a trial if possible. Not only is it lovely to meet before the day, but you get the chance to see what your hair and makeup could look like. If you need help deciding what is possible and your options it’s a great time to chat things through.
If a trial is not possible, I ask you to send me some photos for ideas and a picture of your skin and hair to help me prepare for the wedding morning.

Trials are carried out in my lovely garden room at home in North Devon. The postcode is EX39 5BZ (to help with planning!) These are carried out mid-week. Sunday appointments are very limited and incur an extra charge.

I will travel to wherever you would like me to come. If you have a bridal party they will be first for hair, followed by your hair and then makeup is applied after. Get your matching pjs on, a glass of fizz and relax whilst having hair and makeup. I also have great playlists and endless amounts of love and care that you may (or may not) need!

I will create your perfect bridal hair and makeup first and if you need help getting dressed or with anything else please holla and I will be delighted to help.

I travel in and around North Devon. I can travel further afield at a cost of 50p per mile.

I would always suggest a trim at the salon and a colour refresh if your hair is coloured. An eyebrow wax and any facial hair removal will help enhance the makeup, but do this a week before in case of any reaction.

Spray tans look great if you like a bit of colour. Don’t forget your nails, I love Shellac, which is a gel polish and would recommend this if you are new to having nails done.

As for skin care, if you can go to a local therapist and have a facial(s) in the lead up this can really help to improve the texture of your skin. Removing old skin cells by exfoliation is highly beneficial and I can recommend a great product for this!

This really is personal preference. Individual eyelash extensions need to be done prior to the day. They last several weeks. I have a range of strip lashes in my kit available, which can be cut to size and last well into the early hours. They are easily applied and no extra charge. Or you can opt for lashings of mascara. I love Mac "extreme dimension" plus it is waterproof!

Lots of photos that are on Instagram or Pintrest are probably using them, and Hollywood waves too. Clip in extensions can be really effective for updo’s as well as wearing the hair down. They do need to be a good colour match and quality to get the best look.

I love creating boho inspired hairstyles with lots of texture, twists and plaits. I also enjoy creating the Hollywood wave and beachy waves too. I have seen lots of low, chic styles coming in for the year and I must say I have really enjoyed mastering these too! I love seeing inspiration hair pictures so always feel free to send them to me.

Absolutely! I love to know what you like and equally what you don’t like. I really listen and pride myself in creating a look that you have asked for. You can send over pictures or show me at the trial. Or you can send me your Pinterest board.

Bridal hair and make up usually takes around 2-2.5 hours. Makeup for guests takes approx 45 mins and hair the same. I can do up to 2-3 bridesmaids or mums. If you have more than this I have a network of colleagues I can bring with me. I can't always guarantee I can provide a second stylist but usually it’s not a problem.

I think this is a great idea. Your makeup will last well into the early hours, but lipstick will fade after approx 3-4 hours. Get your favourite shade or the one we used at the trial. I find Mac lipsticks are the best at saying put! I can definitely recommend Modesty, Velvet Teddy and Cherish for a classic bridal look.

If you have oily skin a powder may help reduce shine as the evening kicks in, so get one of your bridesmaids to look after it for you.
